Java embedObject() not working, when file to big?

Hi, I have written a Java agent to store files in a databse. The agents works finde, except, when the files get big. Then for no reason, the agents just wont get over the Codeline:

body.embedObject(EmbeddedObject.EMBED_ATTACHMENT, null, pathname, null);

where body is my RT field and pathname, the name of the file.

The problem is,the agent just seems to “pause” or so. It throws no exception or anything.

It does not even seem to stop. There is nothing in the logs.

I got some System.out.println(“Flag”) before the action and after it. Only the fist one shows up in the log.

Is their any maximum size, you can add?

Why is the agent not throwing any exception?

Is it throwing a event I could catch?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thx Martin

This a web agent? Could it be hitting the timeout? I think by default it is 30 secs. Not 100% on that though.

No, it is not a web agent.It is running scheduled.

Also Timeout is set for Java Agents to be like 40 Minutes, and that is more then enough time.

Edit:

Ok, it was the timeout.

I wrote some Runnable class which gave me some signal, to see if the Agent is still running, this way I figured it stoped running after 40 min.

Looks like it needed for big files ( 2 Gigabyte and up) much more then 40 min.
