Java compiler error

Hi,

I’m having the same problem as posted by another user back in 19.Oct.02, reference

http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/nd6forum.nsf/55c38d716d632d9b8525689b005ba1c0/a66dbda5151b302f85256c5700553b66?OpenDocument&Highlight=0,access,shared,memory,key

Here is my scenario:

  1. I edit my java file in an external IDE (Visual SlickEdit) and save it.

  2. In Designer I open the Agent, and select the “Edit Project” button and refresh the agent from the file system copy of the java file.

  3. I then compile the Agent using the “Compile” button in the IDE.

After step 3 the client hangs, finally disappears, and generates an NSD log file. In that file is the message,

ERROR (48): couldn’t access shared memory key ‘IRIS$MEM$194$0$D.Notes6.Data’ - (22) Invalid argument

I started having this problem with R6.0.3. I just installed R6.5.1 and am having the same problem.

Has anyone else seen this and know of a way to avoid it?

TIA,
