I’ve reviewed the forum for hours trying to determine how to get the Java Applet working on the web (Internet Explorer). I did not find a post that really described this procedure that worked for me… …but found lots of posts saying to change all your views to HTML.
Open the Control Panel
Open Java
Click “Delete Files”
Click “OK”
Click “OK”
Close all browser instances and re-open your mail to see it work
This worked for computers with Java 2 Platform Standard Edition installed versions:

1.5.0_10
Probably works on others, but we only tested on the versions listed.
