Java Applet in HTML and access to Notes

Hi guys,

another question according java and notes.

I want to achieve the following:

I have an applet embedded in an html-file.

The applet should connect to notes with an user and password.

What do I have to do ? Is the ID-file neccessary and a notes installation or how can I make it work ?

I do not want to start DIIOP or something like that on the domino server but the http-task only.

Any examples would be nice.

If you don’t want to use DIIOP, then yes, you’d need a Notes installation and an ID file. All the info you need is in Designer Help. Begin with “Running Java Programs”.
