My organisation is just about to roll out r6 clients and I have been working with the r6.01 client. Due to our customer requirements we had to do a little bit of re-packaging of the installation to change a few default settings and add some custom files. I have just download the 6.01 Critical fix package and noticed that the package does not include an .itw file , so it is no possible to build an msi transform file for this package. Does this mean that we will have to install the base 6.01 package ( with the custom installation requirements ) and then run the CF1 package over the top?? We have 5000 + desktops this will add a lot of work!!.
I tried using my existing .mst file with the new package but it bombs out… Can anyone offer any advice??
