Hello, I have installed the lotus domino ver 6.5 upon windows 2000.my problem is when i want to login to the domino web access the password is rejected and gave me the message that user not authenticated.I have stopped the IIS service on the win 2000,so it is not the problem.Please help me to solve this problem.This problem is repeated also with other mail clients(outlook)but not for the notes client.

Hi Ahmad,there are certain levels you have to check. At first look in the Server Document under Ports → Internet Ports, if there is something defined. The second Part is if the user is defined in the Mail Database ACL. Please be aware that DWA relies on Cookies, do you have Cookies enabled for this site ?

Thanks Christian,It is very strange problem,everything is setup as it should be.My problem is that i cannot access the domino web access and outlook express

using the password that i am sure that it is correct every thing is ok setup and configuration…etc.Please help me to solve this silly problem.

Subject: I solved the problem

Hello,I have solved the problem,What I have done is as follow:

1-I have uninstall the lotus domino server ver 6.5

2- Then I installed the lotus domino server ver 5.0.12

3- I made sure that i can access this time to the iNotes with no problem(regarding the password issue mentioned before).

4- Then I have upgraded to the lotus domino server ver6.5 and this time every thing woks fine.

Till now I do not know the reason of the problem

and still need answer from lotus engineers about this,It was proper installation,I do not think I made mistakes during the fresh installation for the lotus domino server ver.6.5 in the fisrt time.

Hope If I can get an answer soon.

Can u telnet the server ip at port 80 and check.

From the command prompt enter the following command

telnet 80

I did this also(restart the http)but still the same problem.In the log it is telling me that the poassword is not in the NAB,although i am sure it is there in the user document, is it a bug in the 6.5 or did i do some mistakes during the installation.thanks in advance,
