We have enabled the session based authentication with a HTTP session timeout of 30 minutes ( In server document).
However some of our users who are using IE 7 or Firefox 3 their session is getting timed out even before 30 mins and server asks for re authentication. In some cases their session is expiring even in 3 mins.
Can anyone help me how to troubleshoot this issue??

Does the session timeout occur only when using Domino Web Access? Or do you also see the same behavior opening any other web app on the server?
We’ve seen similar problem in the following scenarios:
Logging in where the cookie from one Domino server specifies the domain to be .notesdev.ibm.com, and then another Domino server specifies it to be .ibm.com
Logging into 2 or 3 Domino servers without multi-server authentication set.
Could be timing issue if your clock is off by 10 or more mins versus the Domino server clock
You should probably go ahead and open a PMR to have this investigated by Support. To help troubleshoot, they may suggest that add the following debug setting to your NOTES.INI: DEBUG_SSO_TRACE_LEVEL
