Issues when saving documents

We have just recently upgraded our notes environment from R6 to R8 and one of our application is causing a few problems and I am not sure why.In the application the user will edti one of the attachments using word etc then proceeds to edit save & close the attachment and editing application. They then proceed to do some more editing to the notes document and then saves the notes document. The the attachment editing dialog box displays stating that they still have a document open for editing when in fact it has been closed, they say ok to save etc then save the document again however some data is being lost and not sure why.

Any Help will be greatly appreciated.

Subject: Attachments when opened for editing lose all data

We have been experiencing the same issue with attachments when they are opened for editing and saved, they lose all data. Specifically, we have been seeing this within Microsoft Word documents. It has only been occurring since we upgraded to Notes 8. Have you received a response to your post or have you found a resolution to this issue?
