Hello,
is some days that we have difficult to send message to a specific Internet Domain.
When I send mail to this domain, I get this message from the Domino Console:
“02/01/2006 11.12.18 Router: No messages transferred to xxx.yyy (host mail.zzz.xxx.yyy) via SMTP: The server is not responding. The server may be down or you may be experiencing network problems. Contact your system administrator if this problem persists”
I try to send message from other Mail Domain (external of my Domino environment) and all mail was send correctly.
I think it was a DNS problem but when I open a MS-DOS prompt over the Domino server and I try Telnet session over SMTP, the destination server respond correctly (I get the HELO prompt).
I get only that the telnet session hold 10 second to show me the HELO prompt.
It’s possible that the destination server is slow and my Domino server doesn’t wait many second and so will not be able to open a connection?
Thanks you very much for all support,
Regards,
Luca Chiozzi
