I am trying to add a second partition ot our existiong iSeries server, but cannot change the first to be a partitioned server.
Here is the command and the error, and this all I could dig up. A web search shows someone else with this error in 2003, but no answer was ever posted.
CHGDOMSVR SERVER(domino1) ADVSRV *PARTITION)
Error encountered changing the current configuration for server domino1.
Reason code 11.
CHGDOMSVR command failed.
Message . . . . : Error encountered changing the current configuration for
server domino1. Reason code 11.
Cause . . . . . : An error was encountered when changing the current configuration for server domino1. The reason code is 11:
-- 11 : Error renaming the Domino console queues.
(Domino 6.0.3 on V5R1)

Yes, the CFGDOMSVR command kindly reminds me if it is not. The server is ended, and the subsystem is ended. I even tried to IPL without the Domino server starting.

It’s been so long since I’ve done that, I can’t remember if it forced you to or not. Have you ever looked at the following mailing list:

Thanks for the listserv info. I havn’t called in yet, it is still in the “casual investigation” stage, although I’d still like to hear from anyone else who comes across this.
