Is this possible? Mail forward agent

Hi is this possible?

I have a mailin database that external clients send mail to. I then want these items of mail to automatically forward from the mailin database out to a different external address. Easy.

However when the mail is forwarded out from us to the destination external address I don’t want the recipient to see the original external senders address. Is this possible?

Using a simple action agent,or a rule in the mailfile still shows the original sender.

I thought about using the Bcc field to address the mail in the first instance, but I don’t want to rely on the sending external client remembering to do this.

Many Thanks for any ideas.

Try the other suggestion first. If that doesn’t work, you could write an agent that will build an entirely new email memo, just populating the Subject and Body with the contents of the received email.

  1. Email comes into mail-in db

  2. Agent runs and finds this memo

  3. Agent creates new doc, sets it up as a memo and…

a. copies over contents of subject

b. copies over contents of body

  1. Agent sends

  2. Agent flags the source memo (the one that came in) so this will not run on it again. You could delete it as well, depending on your needs.
