I have a numerical field, which I want it to appear in the column as “The value is” + CurrencyField. However, the field was formatted as number, thus if I used "The value is " + @Text(CurrencyField), it will appear as “The value is 123”, I could not find any @formula to format it as “The value is USD123.00” in Designer Help. can anyone please help me? really appreciates that.

Did you try @text(currencyfield; “C,2” ) ?

Hmm… Interesting I couldn’t find one eather. Well you can try calculating it with a script. There u just use FORMAT function.

My designer help says the @text function does exactly that.
However, is it always going to be USD? Also, @text with a currency converts the text to the user’s currency, so if you have anyone outside the US, the user’s PC is set up wrong or you happen to need to use a different currency then there will be a problem.
I generally store the currency in the document with the currency symbol for display. Then you can just display the currencysymbol field, and use @Text(NumberField;“F2”) to convert the number to 2 decimal places.
Or if you know the value is always in USD you just need to set the column to display ‘USD’ and then the number.
