Is there benchmark on acceptable time for document refresh, or document saved

I sometime faced this issue intermittently, sometime document got refreshed within 1 second, sometime up to 5 to 10 seconds. same as form. is there any good guideline that i can follow/ used?

also, any tools to actually tell what action is causing the refreshed to be slowed down? tq.

Search for client_clock to learn how to use the built in tool that will break down the time spent for you. Note that it’s a bit of a bear to learn/decipher.

There is no real guideline for time because it depends on your form, your db, your server, your network. The longer delays might be because you’re saving a 1gig attachment (network), your server is overly busy with other tasks at the moment, etc.

Search the forum, or kb, on “client_clock”
