The title says it all. I had random passwords when I had Domino 7.0.3 but I changed computers and upgraded to 8.0.1 and I don’t know how to get that setting back.

It’s still in the same spot, if I remember correctly…File, Preferences, Administration Preferences. Then go to Registration and then go to Advanced Options…the last entry is Generate Random Passwords.
Pretty sure you can set it up in the Profiles, too, but I haven’t done that first hand.

If you look at setting up profiles in the address book…there are different options that you can choose for your profile and one of them is registration. I would think that you could set in the profile document to create the passwords, too, but like I said, I haven’t been there to confirm that.
