I’m wondering what others do for Room calendars and department calendars?
I’m trying to get my users to begin using the Reservations DB for rooms and resources but they don’t like the appearance of it. They prefer each room have its own calendar.
For years, the Notes admins created a separate database for each room using the current mail template. The DB calendar would be used to reserve a room for meetings. It’s worked okay for them.
The problem is that since I upgraded the templates, the calendar tab no longer shows Room 400. It show’s the owner name which is a bogus name we used to be the owner of all the calenders. The only thing I can think to do is to create a person document for each room, which is silly.
