Is it possible to log directly in to Lite mode of iNotes?

Can this be done either directly or preferably via DWA Redirect?

Currently in our environment, if you try to open a mail file directly with the argument ?OpenDocument&ui=dwa_lite or if you launch in Full mode but try to switch to Lite mode before logging in the following message is displayed:

Delegated mail files are not supported in Lite mode of Domino Web Access. To use this feature click OK to enter the Full mode of Domino Web Access or click Cancel to logout.

Once logged in to Full mode, you can switch to Lite mode without a problem. The problem is that we cannot deploy Webmail in Full mode for use from home, public or Kiosk computers. Therefore, we will need to have the Lite version launched directly from the DWA Redirect Login. Is this possible? If so, how do we set it up?

Light mode is offered there, and working, not sure if this URL would be the right one. Did not learn about a way for 8.0.2, yet

Subject: 8.5 is not an option at this time

We will be rolling out 8.0.2 over the next year or so. This is a large company so an upgrade beyond 8.0.2 will be very far in the future. I really need a solution for this for 8.0.2.

See Technote 1290899 for more info. You’ll probably also want to disable personal options, and the login options, so there’s no choice unless the user knows the URL string to add
