Using v6 policies for archiving it doesn’t seem possible to exclude calendar entries from the process. Typically we’d like to say archive anything over 90 days but exclude calendar items or even better give a different timeline for them like 360 days. Any ideas?

You could modify the mail template to do that functionality. Just include the form name of what you to exclude. Though you are customizing the default template and there could be some risk involved when you perform an upgrade in the future.
