Is it possbile to recuperate a notes encrypted db without the ID?

Hi,

I know we are not supose to be able but I have that big problem. I don’t have the ID anymore and the DB is encrypted? is there a way to bypass or open the DB using somekind of tool or widget or maybe IBM could and I could pay a fee for it?

Without the ID file and the enclosed Private Key I believe that you are done. If there was a way around this then what good would encryption be?
