Am I dreaming? …the forums <even 8.x ones> have really slowed. There used to be 50-60 postings in a day versus 10-15. Just an observation… have a great day all!

Don’t worry. As in Domino Designer 8.5 the help file is basically impossible to search (at least in latest beta), people will come back here and ask for syntax of commands.

I am hoping that we have now covered everything in the past… This means that by searching this forum that we can solve what ever life throws at us (in relation to Domino)

Well, I just added up all the top level posts from yesterday across the forums from yesterday, 11th March.
There were 69. Most of these were in the 6/7 forum still (47), with more in the 8.5 (15) than the 8(7). There were none in the 4/5, but hopefully that means most people have upgraded by now.
Not sure that’s less than 50-60…

Thanks Dan… just seems slow. I realize the #s in the 6/7 forum are because many customers are still at these revisions but makes me wonder why the version 8/8.5 seem so slow. 7-15 posts (and even 47… or 50-60) seems trivial when you take into consideration the #s of users (200M+) around the world. I generally start my searches here but end up on blogs, etc… Thanks for the feedback… I feel better now.

I think Google is helping people find more answers, both within forums and in blogs. So there is lest posting of questions that have actually already been answered.
I do see a lot more noob type question though, where some people still haven’t worked out that designer help exists or how search works.
