Is anyone running a Windows server with Domino 8.5.2 AND BES 4.1.7? We are wanting to upgrade to 8.5.2, but not sure on compatibility with that our version of BES and don’t want to upgrade if we don’t have to as we are phasing out BES. We do have support through Feb. 2011, but I heard the upgrade to 5.0 is not fun.

I contacted RIM in early September with the same question and received the following response: “There is no ETA on Support for 8.5.2 for 4.1.7 Enterprise Server. It is only being tested in the 5.0.2 environment at this time.”
That said, there was a post in the forum that indicated it worked fine:
I suspect that it would probably work, but if you had any problems RIM might give you some grief when you asked for official support.
