Is anyone running 6.5.1 on Linux?

Hi,

I posted the below post some time ago but got no response. Is anyone using 6.5.1 for mail on Linux without a relaying problem?

Hi, I have 2 servers. One is Win2k running 6.5 and the other is Redhat Linux with 6.5.1. Both are SMTP servers and both have the same configuration document specify no relay.

Router/SMTP / Restrictions and controls / SMTP Inbound Controls / Deny messages to be sent to the following external internet domains: (* means all).

I have a * in this field. On Win2k if I send a mail to the server it is denied for policy reasons (great). On Linux it is accepted. Came in today to find 79,000 messages queued for transmission!

Am I missing something here? I am new to linux so perhaps I need to specify this in a different way?

Hello, I have Server Domino 6.5.1 on Red Hat Advanced server and works the antirelay well. You can prove the alternative to place the name of dominio of your company “company.com” in the first field of the restrictions:“Allow messages to be sent only to the following external internet domains:” =mycompany.com
