Is 6.5.5 Multi-User Install via Group Policy Possible?

I would like to deploy Notes 6.5.5 via group policy to windows workstations as a Multi-User install but it installs as a single user install.

I use the InstallShieldTuner for Lotus Notes to create the MST file to apply to the Notes MSI. Notes 6.5.4 would automatically be installed as a Multi-User install so each user would have his\her own data directory.

Now Notes 6.5.5 installs as a single user install via group policy. And when I remove it and try to manually reinstall 6.5.5, it doesn’t give me the option to do a multi-user install. The setup skips past that screen unless I remove all references to Notes out of the registry.

Has anyone seen this before and\or have a fix for it?

Thanks in advance,

Greg

Hmm, if it worked in 6.5.4 but doesn’t work in 6.5.5 it might be a regression. You are more than likely going to have to open a support call on this. AD deployments are a tricky thing, as I am sure you are aware, and this makes them hard to debug remotely
