Ip address Connection Document

Hi , I am getting Error for the past two week " Unable to find path any path to the server " Remote System no longer responding "

I want to create a ip address connetion document for my lotus client users in china who connect to domino server(Located in hongkong) through the internet.

The funny path is the users can ping the domino server and also access the webmail without any problem . Only when they try to connect from lotus notes client they get the above error.

I have tried all the possible things to connect to the server but still i am not able to connect . This is a problem of dns names resolution .

I am feed up with it and now i want to connect trough the ip address …

Any good possible solution with regard to ip address connection document will be very much appreciated .

Is there firewall settings in between the two locations.

Notes would be trying to locate using a different port than Webmail. (Port 80 or 443)

Cna you telnet to the Server from your desktop using the Notes Port. This would tell you if it will accept Notes Connections
