I am having an annoying problem with the InViewEdit feature in views that contain enough documents to scroll. A user opens a view with editable columns, then scrolls up or down more than one screen. Then selects a document (row) to edit. Then edits the columns and presses or clicks out of the row (to trigger the save event), the view auto-scrolls the selected document either to the bottom of the screen or completely OFF the current screen, depending on the original position of the document. Visually, this is very disruptive to my users, although they can get “back” to their “spot” by pressing the down arrow on the keyboard(because the last document edited is still selected).
Has anyone experienced this behavior with the InViewEdit event? Is there a simple solution?
