Invalid universal id

Hi to all

I recieve the following error message:

Invalid universal id!

It comes from this part of the code:

Set predmet = db.GetDocumentByUNID(uidoc.FieldGetText(“docProces_ID”))

Does it mean that the id hasnt the right format or that the value cannot be obtained?

Subject: invalid universal id

And sometimes helps code like that:unidString = uidoc.FieldGetText (“docProces_ID”)

Set predmet = db.GetDocumentByUNID(unidString)

Now, using debugger, you can check if UNID has proper value.

Try following code:

Unid$=uidoc.FieldGetText(“docProces_ID”)

predmet = db.GetDocumentByUNID(Unid$)

Hi

it means that uidoc.fieldGetText(…) is not a correct unid… !!!

check it !
