Invalid or nonexistent document mail.box

Hi,

I have a piece of mail stuck in the notes server mail.box which I cannot delete/get rid of.

When I try to delete it says “Invalid or Nonexistent document”

I know for a fact that the piece of mail has already been delivered to the intended reciepient.

I’m also getting a nRouter.exe has terminated abnormally at least once per day on the server, which is causing all the mail both internal and external to stop routing. Restartin the router doesn’t work, restarting the service doesn’t work.

I have to bounce the whole box to get things going again.

This started happening after I performed a Domino 5.0.12 to Domino 7.0.2 backend upgrade.

Any advice welcome.

Hi Johna,

Enable the fixup in the program document for mail box.

Just to have a look at log file, whether it has been corrupted.

Else, remame the mail box and re - start the server.

Normally “Invalid or Nonexistent document” mean bad or corrupted view indexes (document is shown in view but doesn’t exist in DB)

Try

load updall mail1.box -R

load updall mail2.box -R

to all your mail boxes

If you’re only using a single mailbox then the command would be:

load updall mail.box -r
