"Invalid Drive" error indexing mail file

We are getting the following error message(s) when trying to create/update the full text index for mail files on one of our servers:

09/22/2008 08:42:03 AM Error full text indexing document NT00000000 e:\lotus\domino\cincimail01\mail\XXXX.ft (rc=309) Invalid drive

09/22/2008 08:49:23 AM Error full text indexing mail\XXXX.nsf: Invalid drive

We’ve checked the NTFS permissions, and they look fine. The person who set this server up is no longer with the company, and we recently noticed these errors, but haven’t found a solution.

We are running v6.5.4 of Domino.

Any of you gurus out there seen this before?

Thanks in advance!

-Mike

Thanks Peter. We reviewed that document, and have checked the permissions, but they appear to be correct.

Any other suggestions?

I think we have it fixed now. We had overlooked adding the SYSTEM account at the root level of the drive…

Hi Robert, How did you solve this problem. I also met the same problem as you.

Thanks!
