Inttegrity of a database storage has been lost-the container will be rebuilt

I was trying to replace a database on server but i couldn’t. then i deleted the existing db from the server and tried to copy a new one with same name it gives an error “the integrity of a database storage has been lost-the container will be rebult” and then i copy the same database with a different name it copied…i need to copy the database with the same name…please guide me…thanksshana

Put the Domino server down, and copy the database at file system level.
