We did a complete rewire of our network closet and all but our Intranet site came back up, yes note mail is up. The directory with the data nsf pages is still there but it is not accessible as users are accustomed to. I looked for a service that did not start and an event in the event viewer but did not find anything.

I will try this. The person who configured this server is long gone and left no doco. Thanks for your help. I will let you know what the resolution is.

That fixed it. You have to change it in 2 spots - the basics tab and the internet tab(not sure which sub tab).
