Internet Reply Marks

Am I the only one who is bothered by the excess crap that is added when replying to an email with internet format?

Why does it add the From:, To:, Date: and Subject: lines to the reply (using the > quoting). The message already sticks in the header of "user @ email wrote on date : " to the top before the > marks so we don’t need all that crap below it… just the message.

Every time I reply to someone I have to remove about 14 lines so it drops the message down to just the important stuff. Should be away to turn this off.

Subject: Amen

You are not the only one.

Even worse is when external users reply to my email and they turn all the tables into dashes and pipes. What an awful bunch of clutter.

Actually getting complaints from customers about all the clutter.
