We are trying to enable the forced password change for the Internet password. Everything works fine until AdminP processes the request. The request fails and creates the following error:Title: Acme’s Address Book File name: ACME/ORG!!Names.nsf; Error: Attribute type is unrecognized
Anyone seen this before?

Same thing here, when I forced user to change internetpassword it worked fine. The users whom I didnt force to change password couldn’t change at all. Very confusing. Running on 6.5 on win 2003.

Do any of you have other entries in the full name field of the person document other than the standard?
IE:
FirstName LastName/Org
FirstName LastName
Also, do any of you have your Notes ID imported into iNotes?
I am experiencing the same issue and am curious as to whether any of the two are contributing factors.
A solution,however, would be preferred!

In our case, it turned out to be a corrupt Policy document. The settings were okay but we needed to recreate the policy document to resolve it. Go figure.

The problems comes from your Security settings of your policy. The “Allow Users to Change Internet Password over HTTP” has to be enabled. Reaply the policy and go to Administration requests database select the documents that reported errors and reprocess all.
