Subject: run updall on ($Users) view
Depending on the number of users in your directory, you can run the updall task on the ($Users) view only: load updall -t “($Users)” names.nsf -R
We have about 5300+ person documents and it only takes about 10 seconds for the view to get updated.
Subject: Update Address Book
You can run UPDALL -R on the address book. That should speed up the rebuilding/update of the views in the address book and make the changes effective much quicker.

may help, but if I knew I really wanted a group change to take effect ASAP I usually just restart the Domino Server as the fastest means…
Subject: Feedback for IBM
This is one of those things that drives folks crazy when they run Domino as an external website with self registration. People expect their user ID and password changes etc. to be immediate, so for years people have been using agents to refresh the views in the names.nsf and clearing the cache. If IBM was to make it immediate it would be fantastic.
