Internet mail routing to internal recipient by mistake

Internet mail going out to info@xxx.com is being delieverd internally to a user with “info” in their short name field in the person record. Any ideas as to why this is happening? it would appear that domino is not recognising the email as intended for outside the local domain and so is sending to the closest match it can find in the nab… only names with no separators…

try sending a tes message to @xxx.com, replacing xxx with the same mail domain as the ‘info’ mail domain. See if the e-mail does to you in Lotus Notes. If so then for some reason domino is seeing xxx.com as a local internet domain. Check your global domain doc to see if it’s set as an internet domain alias.

Agree with Paul on this one. Its probably the global domain doc.

Would be fine if it happened on every sent mail to that domain but it doesn’t, if the sender composes another mail to the same address it sends externally ok, so surely can’t be Global Domain Doc…
