Are you saying that when creating users there is an in the address instead of a ???

If this is the case check the administration preferences of the client that is creating the mail.

If you are saying that all incoming mail is having the replace the then this would be a different matter.

Please be aware if there is an alliase as name_surname@domain then Domino forward the mail to that user (if it gets to the router)

Hi Nathan

Users and aliases are created usin DOT as seperated , hundereds of users are able to get the internet maisl using user.name@company.com ID. Few of the users are intermittantly UNDERSCORE in their adresses ? what would be reasons.

OK I think I am grasping this a little better. Sometime mail comes into you environment with the UNDERSCORE as the seperator, is this correct?

If this is so who is sending the wrong address? is it a reply? If it is a reply check the users location document for the internet address as this is where it picks it up from.

The other place to look would be the Global Domain document > conversions > Internet address lookup. If there is an incorrect address the server will look to this document to fill in the missing bits.

See how this goes … I may still be a bit confused on what is being asked.
