Is IE 8 fully supported under Notes/Domino 8.5 and iNotes 8.5? I hear its being released soon and haven’t seen anything official on support yet. I’m particularly looking for known issue lists, etc. Thanks for anyone’s help.

IBM/Lotus have never supported a product like that until after it is actually released and they can test it with the Gold version of IE 8.

As has already been stated in another response. IBM never offers official support for something like that until it is fully released.
Having said that… I am using IE 8 RC1 and have been able to successfully use DWA 8. I have not had the chance to test DWA 8.5 yet.
I have had more problems trying to use the newest “release” version of Firefox then I have had with IE 8.
You can also use the compatibility mode in IE 8 if you have problems loading any site and it will default back to the IE 6 / 7 engine.

Subject: IE 8 is released
In fact on the day I posted this message, I learned that IE 8 was released to the public. It is now live. I have downloaded it and have tested it on not just DWA but also a couple other Domino web apps. They all seem to work fine with it.
Just don’t forget that at least for now, the Compatibility View button can be your friend.
Individual results will vary of course, but I have not had any issues so far.

Lotus Support encourages customers to submit any issues encountered, however.
