Has anyone else encountered a problem using Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 with the Notes client when trying to open links from within the Notes client? When I click on a link, it does not open the page Internet Explorer, nothing happens.
When I change my location settings from Microsoft Internet Explorer to Notes with Internet Explorer, it works just fine.
I’m not sure if this is a Lotus or a MS problem, so I also posted in the MS forum under the IE7 Beta feedback.

MS does tend to change the back end workings of applications when they version up. (And this is a beta.) The “ie” option probably uses some com link which maybe no longer works the same way.
You may however try this. In your person document choose “OTHER” for your browser instead of “ie.” You in turn could use this to manually choose the correct executeable for IE7 . This has worked for every browser I’ve tried and I see no reason IE7 would be any different.

It seems that Notes has problems with the nhttp task, which I believe (although am not positive) runs when you click a URL link in Notes.
