Internet address in not changing

Hi

I have registered an user named baiju radhakrishnan with internet address baiju_radhakrishnan@domain.com. on domino 8.5, No problem with that. Later on i was instructed to change his email id to baiju@domain.com.

I modified it directly from person document. But when i try to send mail from webmail, recipient gets the mail coming from baiju_radhakrishnan@domain.com not from baiju@domain.com. and if recipient try to reply him on the same address he gets bounce. But if user sends message from outlook express it goes in expected manner.

I deleted the user completely and registered once again but problem is sustain.

any suggestion why it is happening.

Subject: Routing tables

Try updating the routing tables by running the commands SHOW NLCACHE RESET followed by TELL ROUTER UPDATE CONFIG.

Subject: don’t forget the old name too.

Just another thing to remember after creating the person document entirely: all of those old emails that was sent has the fullname@domain.com.

You may want to add his old aliase in alternative names such that he gets emails when people press reply to older messages.

Thanks AnthonyYour suggestion worked for me.

I reset the names lookup cache and updated the routing table.

Now everything is perfact
