Using the out of the box template for Resource Reservations, we created a Resource Reservation database. When we save a reservation, we see this error repeated in the status bar of the Notes client:
“Internal error calling Notes COM interfaces”
Anyone know why? How to get rid of it?
Subject: Seems Notes 8 related, and is not only an issue with R&R application
As a followup, another member of my team opened a PMR (Problem Management Report) with Lotus on this issue. The “Internal error calling Notes COM interfaces” error printed on status bar when saving Resource Reservation document.Looking further into this error, we believe it’s Client 8 related. The Client “does not like” when the action is named “Save and Close”. By renaming it to anything else the issue is resolved. Also, the issue is not related to Resource Reservation - it is reproducible in any other database. Still it would be nice to get a response from IBM on this.
