I am trying to install the Notes 6.0.1 Client on my Windows XP machine and I get an error “Internal Error 2705. Directory” while it first tries to open. I get the same error in the 6.0 Client but it doesn’t happen until I click install and it is searching for installed applications.

I was testing the transform file yesterday and when I removed some of the installation components (ie: Notes Minder shorcut), I received the same error when I attempted to install.
I was also installing 6.0.1 on XP. Once I tweaked the transform just right, everything worked fine.
The only reason I mention it is because I received the same error. During regular installations from the CD (or download) it worked fine.

We get this error, if we remove the “Shortctus/Folder” for installation on Citrix-Server.

I am getting this error as well in 6.5 when I remove shortcuts. Did anyone find a solution? Thanks!
