Integrating Lotus Sametime with AD

Hi,

I have a situation out here where in we need to Integrate Lotus Sametime server with an Active Directory/exchange environment.

The company was earlier on Lotus Notes emailing with Sametime functionality but have of late migrated onto Exchange Server 2007.

They have not installed Microsoft Communications Server and would like to use the existing lotus notes same time server. Is there any way this could be integrated to the existing environment.

The Sametime documentation includes instructions for using an LDAP directory with Sametime, and specific instructions for AD. I found it a little tricky to get all the configuration correct, but you will find plenty of tips in the Sametime discussion forum.

Yes, you can with Directory Assistance on your Sametime Domino server.In your Directory Assistance database you can add an LDAP entry to your Active Directory.
