I wanted to try out widgets on a newly installed Notes 8.5 client on MacOS 10.5.3. To do this I started the integrated browser, which denied me access to any HTTPS pages:
You cannot access because SSL is disabled.
If this is just a problem with the default settings, what do I have to change?
Subject: Could you please provide more information? Thanks!
I can open HTTPS links Mac Notes integrated web browser, could you please provide more information? Then I will write one SPR for it.
-
Could you please provide the HTTPS url you were trying to open?
-
Could you please provide the ISA logs when you encounter the problem? You can provide it in this way:
Go to menu Help->Support->IBM Support Assistant
Select Services
Select collect data
Check the both 2 check box, select collect
Pls attach the ISA log after the collection completes
- Please help to try to remove(you can backup it first) this folder(~/Library/Mozilla/eclipse) to see if it fix the problem
Subject: more information …
URL: https://www.xing.com
ISA file:
Subject: deleting ~/Library/Mozilla/eclipse did not help
Subject: Please visit a non-SSL website first, then you are able to visit https site
Steps:Restart your notes client, visit a non-SSl site(e.g: www.ibm.com)
After this site is loaded, you are able to access SSL sites.
Step1 only needs 1 time, don’t need to reproduce step1 for late Notes sessions.
