Integrated Sametime 8

We are having a sporadic issue with users who are using the integrated Sametime 8 client in Lotus Notes 8.0.1 CCH1. When a user try’s to start a chat session with someone else, running same version of application, they get an error:

“There was an error opening a chat session with xxxx… Please try again later or contact your System Administrator. Reason: 0x80000005”

xxxx represents the persons name that they are trying to start a chat with. This doesn’t occur with everyone in their contact list. Usually the next day the issue will resolve it’s self. Meaning the user can start a chat with the same person without getting an error.

Anyone else seen this?

No idea what that means. Do you have anything like server based chat logging services installed? If the users logoff Sametime and back in does it work ok?

It appears that a user can shut down Lotus Notes and log in again as a work around. interesting thing is, when the error is displayed it is not happening to everyone in their contact list. Only too a few. I have only been able to have one user shut down Notes,restart Notes, log into Sametime, the same person they tried to start a chat with is now working correctly.
