Insufficient memory - too many design elements

I have a very simple database that has 4 forms - with very few fields, and 11 views. Not one of the bigger ones by any means. Even the size of the db is not very large as far as number of documents. I have other systems that have way more documents.I have an LEI activity running to pull information into this db. As of yesterday this was working without any problems for about 2 years but now we are receiving the “Insufficient memory - too many design elements (design desk pool)” error message. I’m wondering if the LEI activity was adding fields/design elements instead of updating the current fields.

I’m not as concerned about how it happened right now as much as I need to fix the system so they can continue using it. How can I open this db to fix this? Any suggestions on getting around this error message or how to fix this problem?

Thanks!

Michelle

Subject: LEI

It seems the LEI activity was appending instead of replacing so it was adding design elements every day. Problem solved.

Subject: Same for us since Christmas ! (but on Names.nsf ?)

The main difference is that the error message appears when clicking on “to:” in a mail, adding a second error message (translated from french) :

“An error has occurred when opening one or more addressbooks : verify that adressbooks design is correct”

(removing cache.ndk doesn’t change anything)

thanks for help… and happy new year !
