Instant Messaging setup

HiI use Lotus Note at work for sending email. I try to setup my Note to use instant messaging.

I follow the instruction from my cowork for setting up the instant messaging.

One of the step is to go to File->Preference->Location Preference. Then click on the Instant Messaging tab.

However, the tab doesn’t appear on my Lotus Note.

My cowork has the same version(6.5) as I do, and they all have the Instant Messaging tab.

Does anyone how to make the Instant Messaging tab appear?

I"ve never seen the tab not appear unless the version of your address book is older. Try refreshing the design of your address book.

There are also a settings in the notes.ini file I’ve seen so people don’t get IM but that didn’t affect the tab from appearing.

Here is one of the notes.ini values, I thought there was a second. Search for IM, AFAIR it was pretty clear once you saw it.
