I have been testing Installshield tuner for a while now. I have been able to get a silent install to work, but, was having issues with getting the Sametime setup to stop showing up after the install is complete. It was not a problem, just close out the install box, and everything else worked fine, including the appearance of their desktop. But after finding this link, http://www.phigsaidwhat.com/Phigment.nsf/dx/useful-ini-settings-for-installshield-tuner.htm, I was able to get the silent install to work properly, and, not have the Sametime setup box to appear after the install. Now, when the user opens their Notes client after the upgrade, the workspace is defaulting back to the “first time” startup of what workspace does the user want. It seems like I fixed one problem to solve another. IS there an .INI setting I can include in the Installshield to keep the old desktop?
