I am trying to install a stand-alone Enterprise Domino server. I need to use Directory Assistance, so it can’t be an xSP server. But everytime I install, the server config tells me that I can’t configure DA because it’s an xSP server. I even tried installing as a Utility Server (because xSP is supposedly not an option for Utility Servers) and it STILL says that I can’t configure DA because it’s an xSP server. It’s maddening.
Based on my searching, there doesn’t seem to be any way to un-xSP a server after install, and the documentation says that I have to use a special setup.exe -xsp flag, which obviously I am not doing, but it’s creating it as an xSP server anyway.
So my question is: How do I install so that it will NOT be xSP?
I’m installing onto a Windows 2003 server.
