Installing Notes client 2x

Can I install Notes client twice on my machine in different dir.

I tried but when I get the box w/ the dir to install the change button is gray.

You have to install the newest version first and work your way backwards since Notes automatically tries to upgrade the installed software.

ex. to install Notes 6.5.1 and 5.x

First install 6.5.1

secondly install 5.x

The other way I have done this… is during the install process, it ‘finds’ the older version… .I just alt-tab to the older version, change the folder name to something else. The client installs.

When finished - I change the folder name back to the older verson - change the new version to something and update it’s Notes.ini.

A pain, but works.
