Installing Notes 8.5 client

Trying to install the 8.5 client on a Vistamachine, on which I currently have Notes 7,

plus installed an 8.x beta some time ago then

removed. The 8.5 install gives me: "Cannot

upgrade AllClient installation to Notes Client.

The upgrade you are attempting is not supported".

How do I fix my machine so that I can install this? As I said, there is nothing left to uninstall.

Did you have the FULL Client installed previously, Admin/Dev/Client? Might want to run uninstaller for 7 or 8 then try installing again.
