Hi,
I am trying to install Domino Server 6.03 or alternatively 6.5 on a WinNT PC. I’ll try to replace an existing 5.11 installation. The 5.11 server has been registered as a NT-Service on this machine. Regardless of the choosen version, after starting the install-routine and all the required files have been copied, the NT-Setup-window opens, saying:
“Please go to the Control Panel to install and configure system components.”
The Domino Install Dialog simply disappears…
The used CD-ROMS are working on other machines.
I thought, that maybe the fact that the old Server has been registered as a NT-Service could have any impact, but if I try to deregister the Service i receive the next error-message:
“Error reading Character Set Translation Files”
The underlying NT is a german version…
Any thoughts?
