Installation / setup question

Hello,

I know in Unix it is recommended to install Domino as root and to have an account created called notes in a group called notes. Then after doing the setup you would login as this notes user and start the Domino server.

Is this similar to iSeries (AS400)? Referring mostly to the account. The reason why I am asking is because I do not think after doing the install and setup on Domino that the Domino server would be started as QSECOFR would it?

The Domino installed files will owned by the QNOTES user profile, which is special user profile created for Domino. The Domino server will run under this profile. This profile does not have “root” (QSECOFR) authority.
